Ingredients You'll Need
1 lb ground beef
1 jar Prego Garlic & Parmesan sauce (24 oz)
1 green pepper, diced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
8 oz spaghetti
Olive oil (for cooking)
Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Cooking the Spaghetti
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook spaghetti according to package instructions (usually 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
Preparing the Sauce and Meat
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add 1 lb ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned (about 6-8 minutes).
Drain excess fat if necessary, then add diced green pepper and sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Sauté for 4-5 minutes until vegetables soften.
