Ingredients You'll Need

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 large eggs, beaten

  • Olive oil spray (optional, for extra crispness)

Preparing the Chicken Skewers

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • Cut boneless, skinless chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes for tender, bite-sized pieces.

  • Thread chicken pieces onto skewers, ensuring even spacing for perfect cooking.

Making the Parmesan Coating

  • In a shallow bowl, mix 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, and salt and pepper to taste.

  • In a separate bowl, whisk 2 large eggs for dipping the chicken.

Coating the Chicken

  • Dip each chicken skewer into the beaten eggs, then coat with the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture. Press gently to ensure a crispy crust.

Baking the Skewers

  • Place the coated chicken skewers on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Lightly spray with olive oil for extra crispiness (optional).

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and crispy. The chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) for safe and juicy results.

Serving

  • Remove from the oven and allow to rest for a few minutes.

  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as marinara or ranch for an irresistible appetizer or party snack.

Enjoy your crispy Parmesan crusted chicken skewers!
