This simple yet elegant appetizer offers the perfect balance of salty prosciutto and tender asparagus, making it a hit for any occasion!

Ingredients You'll Need:
1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed
8 slices prosciutto
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Fresh lemon wedges for serving
Preparing the Asparagus
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Trim the tough ends of the asparagus spears. You can do this by gently bending the spears until they snap at the natural break, or simply cut off the bottom inch or two.
Wrapping the Asparagus
Lay the prosciutto slices flat on a cutting board. If the slices are large, you can cut them in half lengthwise.
Take a few asparagus spears and wrap them tightly in prosciutto, starting from one end and spiraling around until the asparagus is fully wrapped. Repeat this process for the remaining asparagus spears.
Arrange the wrapped asparagus on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Roasting
Drizzle the wrapped asparagus with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using).
Roast in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the prosciutto is crispy and the asparagus is tender.
Serving
Remove the asparagus from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
Serve with fresh lemon wedges for a burst of citrusy flavor.
