Light and flavorful, Salmon en Papillote is a delicious and healthy dish, with salmon cooked in parchment paper with fresh herbs, lemon, and white wine. This simple yet elegant method ensures perfectly moist and tender fish.

Ingredients You'll Need:

  • 4 salmon fillets

  • 1 lemon, sliced

  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1/4 cup dry white wine

  • 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 4 sheets parchment paper

Preparing the Salmon

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Lay a sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet and place a salmon fillet in the center of each sheet.

  • Drizzle olive oil over the salmon and season with salt, pepper, and fresh dill. Place lemon slices and halved cherry tomatoes on top of the fillet.

  • Fold the parchment paper over the salmon and crimp the edges to seal tightly.

Baking the Salmon

  • Bake the salmon packets in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  • Remove from the oven and carefully open the parchment paper.

Serving

  • Serve the salmon directly in the parchment or plate it with steamed vegetables or rice for a complete meal.

Serve this delicate salmon alongside steamed vegetables or rice for a balanced, gourmet meal that’s as easy to prepare as it is to enjoy.
